Foreign Guests of the 23rd China International Software Expo visited BIT

  On the afternoon of June 27th, accompanied by Li Xinshe, deputy director of the National Center for Industrial Information Security Development and Research (CICS-CERT), a group of 30 foreign guests who attended The 23rd China International Software Expo, visited Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).

  Zhang Jun extended sincere welcome to the visit group. He introduced the developing history, school characteristic and international influence of BIT, expressing the intention of expanding the cooperation with universities and scientific research institutions around world in the fields of talent cultivation, scientific research, cultural communication and some others.

Swaray Mohamed Rahman pointed out that Sierra Leone is willing to carry out all-round cooperation with BIT in such fields as student exchange, teacher exchange, scientific research and cultural exchange. He also suggested the concerning countries to advance exchange and cooperation with BIT.

  Li Xinshe expressed a warm welcome to all the foreign guests attending the 23rd China International Software Expo and his sincere gratitude to BIT for the support and help. He suggested that the concerning countries and China should further strengthen and deepen practical cooperation in the field of information technology, jointly promote innovation in key technologies and achieve mutual benefit and common development.

  Wang Ying, director of Office of International Students, introduced the concerning situation of “Study in BIT”. Prior to the meeting, the foreign guests also visited the history museum of BIT, the national engineering laboratory for electric vehicles and the intelligent robot & system innovation center. Participants include relevant personnel from the Exchange and Cooperation department of National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center (CICS-CERT), Office of University Administrations, International Office, Academy of Science and Technology, Office of International Students and School of Computer Science and Technology of BIT.
